Twelve Modern: a Day in September

Yes, it’s one of those rare occurrences when all of Twelve Modern were in town.
So, we did the usual: played live (see below), then hit the studio a day later (unfortunately, Ben Gauslin had to head back to New Orleans and couldn’t join us).
We’ve played live only twice since 2004 and gone into the studio several times.
These are from our latest session on September 13, 2009.
And - as usual - all improvised.
We hadn’t seen each other as a group in nearly two years, and yet without much discussion and no ‘practice’, we were making music together.
We really enjoyed it.
Hope you will, too.
