Young composers

There are a few names that keep cropping up in ‘new music’ circles. In general, these youngish folks write for symphony orchestras or other ‘classical’ ensembles, but their influences and interests are probably a lot more like yours than like those dead European white guys.

I admit I’ve heard little of their work, partly because recordings are hard to find - it’s expensive, especially for young folks working with a wide palette of instruments (but that’s another post).
New music never hurt anybody, so give ‘em a shot, and let me know if you hear more from these or other young composers.
