Office-tower retrofit study
February 9, 2006
Using an older office tower near Chicago as a test case, the Rocky Mountain Institute proposed a retrofit that struck a balance between the cost of improvements with the savings gained.
The study also pointed to real-world reasons why the proposal was not undertaken, giving a well-rounded example of why an owner might or might not implement something that seems so reasonable.
