Garden in a City
Chicago’s motto is urbs in horto, or “city in a garden.” Garden in a City exhibited landscaping suitable for use in an urban environment.
The exhibits ranged from a full kitchen garden (with eye- and nose-pleasing herbs) to roofscapes to six front- and backyard gardens based on a typical Chicago lot.
