While the Omotesando Hills mixed-use development by Tadao Ando is under construction, this nearly 300 yard-long living fence secures the site and activates the sidewalk for passersby. Fabric panels with graphic patterns and advertisements alternate with panels of soil-filled burlap pockets that hold trailing plants.
