Who We Are

Process

The way artists, architects, and musicians work is often not very neat.

Like the construction process, the creative process has its dust, dirt, and noise. The finished results of this work may be well-ordered and beautiful, but the path to completion, though sometimes less straightforward, is no less exciting, strange, and wonderful.

Unfinished buildings and other works of art or craft have a certain nobility and unique character because of the many hands that have touched them, and likewise the design process is equally rich, showing the depth of thought, ideas unused and superceded, and small triumphs made on the way to the finished thing.

Often highly guarded and secreted away by artists until the final product, the creative process becomes a way for Echo Studio to understand its clients, and for them to understand us. This extension of the collaborative dialogue to those for whom we are making things is crucial… and fun.

The making of things becomes an art itself.
