The client sought our assistance when replacing 242 windows for this 26-unit residential building.
On one level, it’s a window replacement job.
Performed incorrectly, however, the results could be disastrous for building performance in the face of rising energy costs, especially adjoining severe weather in this project’s specific location - overlooking Lake Michigan.
Echo Studio produced 3 pages of easy-to-follow details and specifications tailor-made to suit the existing conditions of the project at a very reasonable cost. The construction documents were adaptable to several window configurations to minimize the need for time-consuming coordination between general contractor, owner, and design team.
The project was competitively bid.
